Cycling
This is one of the best ideas ive seen done, wish i could have gone.
100's of cyclists illegally rode the LA Marathon course the night before the marathon.
Getting messy all in the name of fashion, interesting concept & well executed.

Scotland Spring Timelapse
Im back from Scotland after 4 nights, below is what i created whilst i was there.
All filmed on an 800 acre estate in Dalton near Lockerbie in Scotland over 4 days & 4 nights.
Made up from 1700 stills taken with a Canon 40D with Sigma 18-50 F3.5 & a Sigma 50-150 F2.8 lenses.
I used a remote & set my camera up in various places, the night time shots where taken at an average of every 25 seconds, the daytime shots between 10 & 45 seconds apart with fast exposures.
Night time camera settings:
Aperture: Between F4-F7.1
Shutter speed: Between 45-90 seconds
ISO: Between 800-1000
Music: Explosions in the sky - Time stops

Skate Furniture
Here is one of those awesome ideas that has been made a reality.
I have pop have created Skateable Furniture.
This is what they have to say:
"Skateboarders, BMX riders, freerunners and inline skaters are probably the most intensive users of public space. They define their surroundings not by intended function but by possibilities. Form is just the starting point for own interpretations, so a park bench to sit on can become a playground in the minds of the people involved in these activities.
At Area Fifty One Skatepark, Europe's biggest indoor skateboard facility, I built an installation especially for Dutch Design Week 2009 in which I focus on these possibilities. The chosen form of a living room references directly to the idea of design, but has no relevance to skateboarding as it is an outdoor activity. It challenges the skateboarders to find new ways to make use of these items and by doing so they add purpose and worth."

This Cambridge glow in the dark bike is one of the coolest things ive seen in a while, its $2000 if you'd like one.
Its been powder coated with glow in the dark paint & they say the finish is very durable.
