The Sandpit

Possibly one of the most beautiful videos to catch my eye this year, its a day in the life of new york city in miniature by Sam O'hare.
It is made up from 35'000 still images, took 5 days & 2 evening to shoot & was shot on a Nikon D3 with Tamron & Sigma lenses, shooting at an average of 4fps.
A lot of the stills where shot handheld! Thats dedication for you.

Storenvy free tee

Today i received a pretty cool free gift, so far this year i have received 60+ free t-shirts, hoodies & magazines from different companies, this one though had to be one of the coolest.
It was designed by Godmachine as part of a promotion for Storenvy.
Storenvy wanted to prove that they can not only print 10 colour t-shirts but prove that they can print them well so they asked Godmachine if he could design a t-shirt using 10 colours for them to screen print on American Apparel that they would send out for free to 500 lucky people & this was the outcome...

...it arrived in this nice box.

This ones for the female art students

Etsy has to be my new favorite website for finding & buying cool stuff.
It a whole new world of handmade & vintage goods, anyone can set up shop, sell something & make some cash, Etsy just take a small commission for each sale you make, sounds fair to me seen as this community is growing at an alarming rate.
